3. It is suitable for various formations without boulders, including water-bearing formations, not suitable for gravel layers, and generally used for soft soil layers.

1. Before the construction starts, the full-time safety officer must conduct a comprehensive investigation and detailed understanding of the surrounding environment, underground pipelines and geological conditions in the construction area. The position, direction and depth of underground pipelines, air defense facilities and canals in the crossing area must be well known. Relevant technical measures shall be taken in the construction organization design to ensure the construction safety. Special personnel shall be instructed to properly handle the underground pipelines and air defense facilities in the drilling work area.

4. Construction personnel must wear safety helmets and protective gloves when going up and down the drill pipe. Attention should be paid to safety to prevent accidents.

During the crossing process, the driller shall pay attention to the index of the pressure gauge, and immediately stop the machine for inspection if any abnormality is found, especially if the pressure rises suddenly, the construction can be continued only after the inspection and troubleshooting.
6. During the crossing process, the directional hand shall always pay attention to the crossing direction and depth of the drill pipe. In case of deviation, correct the deviation in time to ensure that the drill pipe is drilled along the designed crossing curve. In case of drilling sticking, immediately withdraw from the drilling area, stop drilling for inspection, find out the solution and ensure safety before construction.
7. During mechanical excavation, the construction personnel shall stand in the safe area. Manual excavation, the use of work should be firm, operators should keep a safe distance. Before excavation, slope sloping or slope support shall be done according to the excavation depth and geological conditions. Construction materials and construction equipment should not be placed at the edge of the pit, otherwise measures must be taken to strengthen the slope of the pit. In the rainy season construction should pay attention to the drainage around the foundation pit.
8. Before towing the pipe, the project manager shall check whether the hoisting equipment and auxiliary facilities are safe and reliable. The towing process shall be directed by a special person. It is strictly prohibited to control anyone below.
