1. Geological exploration technology
Geological exploration is the core component of coal mine drilling technology. It mainly grasps the geological structure, soft and hard properties of soil, formation lithology, groundwater characteristics and ore body distribution. At the same time, various parameters and hydrogeological materials are collected through geotechnical and water sampling tests, hydrogeological experiments or gas pressure tests, so as to provide reliable theoretical basis for geological exploration design and construction.
2. Gas drainage technology

3. Drilling grouting technology
In the process of coal mining, coal spontaneous combustion and other phenomena are sometimes encountered. In order to effectively prevent spontaneous combustion of coal in goaf, it is necessary to drill grouting first, drill holes from the ground or underground roadway through drilling rig, and pour materials or slurry with fire extinguishing performance into dangerous areas to reduce the harm of coal spontaneous combustion. This technology has also been applied in the goaf of some mines in China, through the drilling rig drilling from the ground to the overlying strata to produce the separation layer fissure zone, the injection of cement paste, to control the surface collapse or the role of rock layer down, effectively protect the surface facilities.
