This processing method puts forward higher requirements for the welding process, and the controllability and stability of the welding quality are poor in the actual processing process. Due to the influence of welding process level, over-welding or over-welding problems are inevitable. Overwelding will cause damage to the rod body, and it is easy to break along the welding seam between the spiral blade and the rod body. In addition, hot melt welding has high requirements on the material of the rod body and the spiral blade. In order to ensure the good welding performance between the spiral wing and the drill pipe body, the material properties are optimized. If selected randomly, in addition to abnormal phenomena such as easy welding and deshow, it will also cause the drill pipe spiral blades to wear too fast, greatly reducing the service life.

Due to the use of CNC milling machine, the machining accuracy of the spiral groove can be effectively controlled, and the spiral blade and rod body are formed as a whole.
