- What is a high gas coal mine? How is it defined
Mine gas grade is divided by the size of the relative gas emission. The "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" stipulate that in a mine, as long as gas is found in a coal (rock) layer, the mine is designated as a gas mine and is managed in accordance with the mine gas grade work system.
Mine gas grade, according to mine relative gas emission, mine absolute gas emission and gas emission form is divided:
(1) Low gas mine: the relative gas emission of the mine is less than or equal to 10 cubic meters/ton and the absolute gas emission of the mine is less than or equal to 40 cubic meters/minute.
(2) High gas mine: the relative gas emission of the mine is greater than 10 cubic meters/ton and the absolute gas emission of the mine is greater than 40 cubic meters/minute.
(3) coal (rock) and gas (carbon dioxide) outburst mine.
