Inclined longwall coal mining method
The inclined longwall mining method is to divide the coal seam between the levels into mining strips along the dip or elevation within the mine field. Along the stage or horizontal full height, some inclined roadways are excavated from the main roadway of coal seam transportation to prepare partitions, and cut holes are excavated at the horizontal boundary, which are connected with inclined roadways to form mining strips. One or two working faces are arranged in each strip, and the coal mining working faces are arranged along the coal seam trend and advanced along the inclination or elevation direction.
