Preservation of drill pipe:
First, blow air to clean up the water inside the drill pipe, and open the drill tail lubricating device at the same time. In principle, it is advisable to see the drill tail lubricating oil at the bottom of the drill pipe.
Second, the outside of the drill pipe, including the threaded part and the main part of the drill pipe, must be wiped clean. At the same time, the male and female joints should be added with a rubber cover to prevent contaminants from entering. Although the rubber cover is small and cheap, it can greatly reduce the failure of the impactor caused by pollution.
Impactor saving and re-enabling:
For short-term storage, follow these steps:
First, blow the air to remove the water from the impactor;
Second, add 1 liter of drill tail oil from the upper joint part;
Third, turn on the air and blow for about 10 seconds, so that the internal parts of the impactor can be fully lubricated;
Fourth, as with the drill pipe, cover the upper and lower joints with rubber caps respectively;
Fifth, place the impactor horizontally in a dry environment.
Long-term preservation, slightly different:
First, blow the air to remove the moisture from the impactor;
Second, loosen the upper joint and the lower joint, and disassemble the impactor;
Third, check and wipe all internal parts, it is best to do this work in a clean room;
Fourth, with the appropriate lubricating oil, moderate lubrication of all parts;
Fifth, assemble the impactor and cover the upper and lower joints with rubber covers;
Sixth, place the impactor horizontally in a dry environment.
To re-enable the impactor, three steps are required:
First, disassemble the impactor and detect all internal parts. If it is found that the surface of some parts is oxidized, it is necessary to properly polish the oxidized part with sandpaper.
If it is not tested and put into use directly, it is likely to cause premature failure of the impactor.
Second, clean the various parts, wipe clean, to be lubricated.
Third, the cleaned and lubricated parts are assembled into an impactor and can be put into use.
