1. Ensure reliable lubrication
The lubrication of the impactor is realized by the oil injector on the drilling rig, so it must be ensured that the oil injector is filled with oil before each shift starts work, and there is still surplus before the next shift starts work. (note 20# machine oil in summer, note 5-10# machine oil in winter)
2. Before the impactor is installed in the drill pipe, operate the impact air valve to exhaust and remove the debris in the drill pipe, and check whether there is lubricating oil in the drill pipe. After connecting the impactor, check whether there is oil film on the drill bit spline. If there is obviously no oil or the amount of oil is too large, adjust the oiler system.
3. When the impactor starts drilling, the propulsion air valve should be operated to feed the impactor forward and resist the ground. At the same time, the impact air valve should be opened to make the impactor work. At this time, care should be taken not to make the impactor rotate, otherwise it is impossible to stabilize the drill. When a small pit is impacted to stabilize the drill, then open the rotary air valve to make the impactor work normally.
4. In the working process, regularly check the air compressor tachometer and pressure gauge. If the speed of the drilling rig drops rapidly and the pressure increases, it means that the drilling rig has a fault, such as the collapse of the hole wall or the generation of mud hoops in the hole, and timely measures should be taken to eliminate it.
5. During the drilling process, there is always no rock slag in the hole. When necessary, strong blowing is carried out to clean the hole, that is, lifting the impactor 150mm from the bottom of the hole. At this time, the impactor stops impacting and all the compressed air is discharged through the central hole of the impactor.
6. If it is found that the drill bit falls off the column or the debris falls into the hole, it should be sucked out with a magnet in time.
7. Grind the drill column teeth regularly, and the height of the column teeth after grinding is 9-9.6mm. (Our company can provide you with professional grinding tools)
8. When replacing the drill bit, pay attention to the change of diameter. The wear hole of the drill bit has not been drilled. It is not allowed to replace the old drill bit with a new drill bit to avoid "sticking".
Efficient drilling and improve the service life of the drill, depending on the shaft pressure and speed with the appropriate. Different rock formations will affect the ratio of speed and shaft pressure. The minimum axial pressure applied to the impactor should be such that the impactor does not bounce during operation. The rotating speed can be adjusted according to the particle size of the rock slag.
10. The impactor and drill pipe shall not be reversed in the hole to prevent the impactor from falling into the hole.
11. When drilling the downward hole, when drilling is stopped, the gas supply to the impactor shall not be stopped immediately. The drill shall be pulled for strong blowing. The air shall be stopped after no more rock slag and rock powder are discharged from the hole, and then the drilling tool shall be lowered to stop rotation.
