1. Observe the oil dipstick

2. Check the engine coolant
Check engine coolant for oil. If some parts of the engine are damaged, the engine coolant will enter the lubrication system, and oil is often found in the coolant.
3. Observe the color appearance of the oil
Careful observation of the appearance of the oil can also easily determine whether the oil contains water. Oil that does not contain water is translucent and bright, while oil that contains water is opaque brown or yellow. If the engine oil contains moisture, the engine oil will show Milky White and foam after the engine has been running for a period of time. This is because under the action of the high temperature inside the engine, the oil and the coolant chemically react, and the oil will be emulsified into an emulsion.

1. Damage to the oil radiator causes the oil to enter the water. The oil radiator is damaged, the radiator pipeline is broken, and the water outside the radiator will penetrate into the oil radiator, causing the oil to enter the water.
2. The damage to the sealing ring of the cylinder liner causes the oil to enter the water. The wet cylinder liner directly contacts the cooling water. The sealing ring at the lower part of the cylinder liner can effectively prevent the leakage of oil and cooling water. In use, the sealing ring bears a certain pressure, and sometimes the poor water quality of the cooling water will cause corrosion. After the engine runs for a long time, the sealing ring is easy to fail. Cylinder liner sealing ring damage is a major cause of oil water, so, when checking the cause of oil water, be sure to remember to check whether the cylinder liner sealing ring is intact.
3. Cylinder liner cracks easily lead to oil water? When the heating cylinder liner directly contacts the cooling water, it is easy to produce cracks. Once cracks occur, the cooling water will directly enter the cylinder and enter the oil pan through the cylinder wall. This will make the oil white, and the oil white will lead to poor engine combustion, white smoke and other problems.
4. Damaged cylinder head gasket leads to oil water ingress? Engine cylinder head gasket is used to seal each cylinder and the corresponding water channel and oil channel of each cylinder, so as to avoid oil ingress. If the cylinder head gasket is damaged and the water circulation speed is fast, the water in the water channel will flow into the oil passage, causing the oil to enter the water. Tip: Cylinder head gasket damage is one of the important reasons for oil water ingress. After each disassembly of the machine, try to use a new cylinder head gasket to avoid oil water ingress caused by cylinder head gasket leakage, which may cause engine damage.

If the oil enters the water lightly, it will cause the engine temperature to be too high, if it is serious, it will cause failures such as cylinder pulling and tile holding, and if it is more serious, it will cause the engine to be scrapped. In general, the water content in the oil is below 0.03 percent, and if the water content exceeds 0.1 percent, the additives in the oil (e. g., antioxidants, detergents, dispersants, etc.) will react with water and fail, and the performance of the oil will decline.? Under the action of the high temperature inside the engine, the oil will chemically react with the coolant, the oil will be emulsified, and the lubrication effect of the oil will be greatly reduced. After the oxidation resistance of the engine oil decreases, the organic acid produced by the oxidation of the engine oil will react with water to form inorganic acid, and these acidic substances will cause corrosion to the engine parts, causing the parts to rust or damage.
