Generally speaking, the application of carbide drill in CNC machining has been very extensive, but the cost of materials is high. It is the responsibility of every machining practitioner to use the drill correctly and make the best use of it. Reasonable use of carbide drill can not only improve product quality but also save costs. The correct use of hard alloy drill bits mainly includes the following aspects: 1. Selecting the correct numerical control drill bits can be applied to numerical control machine tools, machining centers and other high-power, high-rigidity machine tools, and ensuring that the tip runout TIR<0.02. The rocker drill, universal milling and other machine tools due to the power is small, the spindle accuracy is poor, easy to lead to the drill bit.

Generally speaking, the application of carbide drill in CNC machining has been very extensive, but the cost of materials is high. It is the responsibility of every machining practitioner to use the drill correctly and make the best use of it. Reasonable use of carbide drill can not only improve product quality but also save costs. The correct use of carbide drill, mainly includes the following aspects:

1, choose the right.nc drill bitIt can be applied to CNC machine tools, machining centers and other high-power, rigid machine tools, and should ensure that the tool tip beating TIR<0.02. The rocker drill, universal milling machine tool due to the small power, spindle accuracy is poor, easy to lead to the early collapse of the drill bit, should try to avoid.

2. Select the correct tool holder spring chuck, side pressing tool holder, hydraulic tool holder, hot swelling tool holder, etc. can be used. However, due to insufficient clamping force of quick-change drill chuck, it is easy to cause the drill bit to slip and fail. Use should be eliminated.

3. Correct cooling

(1) External cooling should pay attention to the combination of cooling directions to form an upper and lower step configuration and minimize the angle with the tool.

(2) Pay attention to the pressure and flow rate of the internal cold drill bit, and prevent the leakage of coolant from affecting the cooling effect.

4. Correct drilling process

(1) When the inclination angle of the drilling surface is> 8-10 °, it is not possible to drill. <8-10 °, the feed should be reduced to the normal 1/2-1/3;

(2) When the inclination angle of the drilling surface is> 5 °, the feed should be reduced to 1/2-1/3 of the normal;

(3) When drilling cross holes (orthogonal holes or oblique holes), the feed should be reduced to 1/2-1/3 of normal;

(4)2-bladed drill shall not be reamed.
