By adding cavitations in the pure water jet, the collapse of cavitation on the rock can improve the rock breaking ability of cavitation jet, but the form of cavitation in the nozzle still needs to be optimized, and how to solve the cavitation of cavitation on the nozzle needs further research. In addition, high-pressure water jet technology has been maturely applied in the field of coal seam slotted pressure relief technology, but this method cannot be used as a separate means of rock breaking.

At the same time, the high-pressure jet requires high power, high energy consumption, nozzle blockage, wear and other problems, maintenance costs are too high, so the technology has not been widely used in hard rock roadway tunneling engineering practice.

(3) The expansion crack auxiliary rock breaking technology uses the rock pre-drilling, and then breaks the rock through the expansion crack device. The existence of rock pre-drilling weakens the overall stress of the rock and provides a free surface for the rock breaking work of the expansion and cracking device. For mechanical expansion and cracking rock breaking, it has simple structure, good crushing effect on hard rock, no thermal stress, no dust, low noise and little damage to surrounding rock during rock breaking. However, a single mechanical expansion and cracking rock breaking device has low efficiency and should be used in combination with an automatic drilling and expansion integrated machine. The water and foam generated in the rock breaking process of high-pressure hydraulic expansion and cracking technology can suppress dust concentration, consume less water, and the rock breaking device can be reused, however, it still needs to be used in combination with the drill-up all-in-one machine. High-pressure gas expansion and rock breaking technology adopts non-explosive gas expansion and rock breaking. No harmful gas is generated during rock breaking. Rock breaking has high energy and controllable energy, but dust and noise are large. Gas compression and storage devices are required.
