(1) In terms of mine coal and rock crushing methods, high-efficiency crushing of hard rock roadway is still a technical problem that needs to be solved urgently at present. With the continuous proposal of modern rock breaking methods, it is possible to make high-efficiency crushing of hard rock. Modern rock breaking methods represented by water jet breaking technology should be developed in the direction of "energy-gathering water cannon", integrating the advantages of water jet and cavitation jet, and enhancing the firing frequency of "water cannon, it is easy to combine mechanical rock breaking with equipment, so that the future development trend of coal rock breaking method is still mainly mechanical rock breaking method, supplemented by modern rock breaking method. Under the premise of fully considering the geological occurrence conditions and economic performance of coal mine roadway, the modern rock breaking auxiliary method is reasonably selected to realize a variety of modern rock breaking technology and mechanical coupling rock breaking, the characteristics of rock compression and non-tensile are used to induce the expansion of internal cracks in the rock and release the internal energy of the rock, thereby reducing the cutting load and wear of the mechanical cutting mechanism and improving the efficiency of hard rock crushing.

(2) The mechanical cutting mechanism of mining equipment is the key component that affects the efficient crushing of coal and rock, and in the design of cutting mechanism, it is mainly based on construction experience and geological conditions for customized design, has not yet formed a unified and complete design theory, design cost and cycle is high. Considering the complex geological conditions of coal mine roadway such as gangue, hard nodules and small faults, the characteristics of coal and rock change greatly, the phenomenon of surrounding rock floor breaking and roof caving occurs frequently, it is necessary to deeply study the design theory of cutting mechanism of mining equipment, and combine with advanced means such as big data analysis to design and select suitable rock breaking tools based on coal and rock crushing method, form a complete theoretical system of coal and rock geological conditions, cutting mechanism structure design, tool arrangement, tunneling parameters, construction technology, etc., and establish a complete database of cutting mechanism design, so as to improve the design level and adaptability of coal and rock crushing mechanism, so as to improve the efficiency of rock breaking.

(3) In terms of mine coal and rock mining equipment, there are mainly two development trends, one is how to efficiently integrate non-mechanical rock breaking technology into existing tunneling equipment, and develop in the direction of high tunneling efficiency, low crushing energy consumption and large crushing ratio of tunneling equipment. Another development trend is to realize the intelligent development of tunneling equipment. Taking into account the cutting load, tunneling parameters, coal and rock characteristics, roadway geological conditions, surrounding rock conditions, supporting technology and propulsion parameters and other factors, we will develop efficient, coordinated, stable and reliable intelligent tunneling equipment to realize the reduction of coal and rock roadway and even unmanned operation, thus realizing safe, efficient and green mining of coal mines. For hard rock crushing, the most promising method at present is to use the characteristics of rock compression and non-tensile, and to use hydraulic or mechanical expansion and cracking to assist the rock breaking method to achieve efficient and economic crushing of hard rock. For the excavation of hard rock roadway in small chamber, mechanical expansion and cracking equipment can be used to drill and break rock. For the excavation of large section roadway, the drilling and expansion device can be combined with the excavation equipment to realize the cooperative operation of drilling-expansion-cutting. Its structure is shown in Figure 56. However, the distance between holes, the aperture size and the expansion and cracking power need to be controlled in the construction operation, combined with intelligent algorithm, the collaborative work of drilling, expansion and cutting is realized, and the efficient excavation of hard rock roadway is realized.
