Drilling engineering is a process of crushing rocks in the earth's crust according to a certain process with certain tools. The result of this project is drilling holes in the earth's crust. A borehole is a space of circular cross-section excavated from the surface like rock, generally of small diameter and great depth. The diameter of 25-500mm is called drilling; the diameter of 500mm or more is called drilling. The depth of drilling has been from several centimeters to several kilometers, and the current drilling depth has exceeded 10000 meters. The borehole includes an orifice, a hole bottom, and a hole wall. The orifice is the opening part of the borehole, that is, the place where the borehole intersects the ground or tunnel; the bottom of the hole is the deepest part of the borehole;

The depth of drilling has been from several centimeters to several kilometers, and the current drilling depth has exceeded 10000 meters.
The borehole includes an orifice, a hole bottom, and a hole wall. The orifice is the opening part of the hole, that is, the place where the hole intersects the ground or tunnel; the bottom of the hole is the deepest part of the hole; the hole wall is the side of the hole.
The main processes of drilling are:
1, drill into broken rock.
2, coring powder. The broken rock is discharged from the bottom of the hole to the outside of the hole by means of coring and removing rock powder to ensure the continuous drilling.
3, lifting drilling tools. Core extraction or replacement of drilling tools.
4, strengthen the well wall. To ensure the stability of the borehole wall and prevent the drilling tools from collapsing.
Drilling is to carry out other work, such as electrical measurement, oblique hole law, water stop, etc.; In addition, there are other auxiliary work, such as relocation, transportation, disassembly and installation of drilling equipment.
