In the process of mining in fully mechanized working face, air leakage in goaf leads to spontaneous combustion of remaining coal and gangue in oxidation and self-heating state, especially in coal seam group mining mines. Before mining in lower coal seam, water is released from overlying goaf, and a large amount of water and gas replacement provides oxygen supply conditions to accelerate oxidation of residual coal. Roof goaf in lower coal seam caving, fissures in upper and lower coal seam goaf and lower coal seam goaf lead to increase air leakage channels, causing spontaneous combustion, this leads to low oxygen and CO overrun in the lower mining face, which can not be mined normally, especially in the goaf of each working face with strip-type arrangement without isolated coal pillar.
